What days do you schedule night scuba dives?
Night dives are available any night as long as there is a minimum of four divers.
Where is LiquidBlue Divers shop located?
We no longer are in our old dive shop location. The GOOD news for you is that we are now offering personalized check-in/check-out and dive gear pick-up/drop-off services wherever you're staying on the island. No more hassles of where to park or taking a taxi to the shop...more time for you to enjoy your vacation! Pick-up/drop off services are confirmed via email once your dive reservations have been finalized.
What are the shop hours?
By appointment only. Local phone 987-111-0311 or From US or Canada: 210-807-DIVE (3483).
Do you offer multi-day discounts on scuba diving and hotel packages?
Yes, we will take 5% off your total bill if you dive four or more dives with us. In addition, if you pay your entire planned diving trip in advance by check, we will discount you another 5%. Otherwise, current rates can be found on our pricing page. We are still working on getting hotel package pricing.
Where do you stop for the surface interval and for how long?
That depends on the dive sites that your group decides upon the morning of your dives. However, rest assured, we ALWAYS do our surface interval at a full service beach club that serves food and has appropriate rest room facilities.
What time do your boats leave and from where?
Our boats depart the marina (Caleta) at 7:30 a.m. and pick up at various hotels. For those who are staying at a hotel where we cannot pick up, you will have to find transportation to the marina, and be ready to leave by 7:30 a.m.
What hotels and times, do you pick up at?
We go as far north as El Cantil Condos to pick up guests. Pick up times vary and we'll let you when you check in. Please keep in mind that you must be a guest of these properties in order to be picked up there daily.
Will you handle our scuba dive equipment?
Yes, each diver will have their own gear bag with name tags. We will meet you at your hotel/resort to finalize paperwork and pick up all your gear so that it will be ready and waiting for you on the boat the first day of your scheduled dive. At the end of each day, the equipment will be brought back to the shop for washing, and rinsing. You will find it set up the following day on the boat. Due to similarity of wetsuits and skins, we cannot keep track of them. Therefore, you must take them off the boat each day.
Who selects the dive site daily?
The dive site is selected by the group diving that particular day. However, the dive master and boat captain have the final say should the conditions not be safe, or if one in the group does not have the skill level required for a dive.
Do you offer Nitrox?
Yes, nitrox 36% is available on the second dive. Nitrox is not available on the first dive because it's generally a deep dive.
Is the reservation process secure?
Yes, our website employs industry-standard encryption to protect your personal information. We do not record your credit card number.
What forms of payment do you accept for deposits and final payment?
All major credit cards are accept by PayPal when submitting your 25% deposit. Visa, Master card and cash are accepted at the dive shop for final payment. Travelers checks are not accepted.
